Investment Strategy

The Portfolio will invest in treasuries corporate bonds stocks and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) that have exposure to developed markets mainly but not limited to the United States. Also it will have some exposure to emerging markets such as Argentina and Brazil. The Portfolio Manager will approach different sectors such as technology real estate financial services healthcare consumer cyclicals communication services industrials basic materials energy and consumer defensive among others. For fixed income the analysis will be made through a down-top approach. The Portfolio Manager will look for instruments that meet the objective yield and analyse consequently the issuer rating and duration of the instrument. In the case of stocks and ETFs the Portfolio Manager will develop a fundamental analysis determining which sectors and individual stocks have the highest growth potential and within those sectors and stocks it will select the stocks based on a technical analysis. The Portfolio Manager will follow the trend although the Portfolio Manager will be always on alert in order to maximize results anticipating possible changes of said cycles or trends based on the results of the analysis previously detailed. The strategy varies its exposure to the different instruments depending on the market conditions. The Portfolio Manager from time to time could take margin over the Portfolio to invest in stock options and index options with the aim of covering the Portfolio positions or taking advantage of short-term market events and opportunities. Short positions may be used on very specific occasions. The maximum allowed leverage is 50% of the Portfolio. For ETFs and stocks the manager will develop a risk management strategy based on technical analysis; in order to avoid markets drawdowns.
